The Central Noble ladies were back in action after nearly two weeks off on Tuesday evening in Churubusco. The Cougars got back into the win column with a 9 point victory over the Lady Eagles to even their record on the season at 3-3.

Kyleigh Egolf led the way on both ends of the court with team honors in points at 10 and steals with 7. Following just behind her with 9 points was Ella Zolman; she also tied in team honors on the glass with 7 rebounds. Ali Kimmel netted 5 points on the evening, while Lilly Lawson and Chrissy Slone both chipped in 4 points apiece. Rounding out the scoring on a free toss from the charity stripe was Courtney Gray.

Lawson grabbed 7 boards while Kimmel pulled down 5 of her own. Defensively Slone, Zolman, and Gray each contributed with 3 steals apiece. Kimmel led the block party with 2 swats of Busco shots. Zolman and Gray each had a blocked shot as well.

The Lady Cougars are back in action Thursday evening at Fremont (weather permitting). Next week the ladies have five contests in six days as they compete on the road at Lakewood Park (Monday), Lakeland (Tuesday), and West Noble Shootout (Saturday). Their lone home game next week is Thursday evening versus Wawasee.
